SharePoint MVP for the 4th year in a row!

I found the following email in my inbox yesterday :

Dear Ayman El Hattab,
Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2013 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. We appreciate your outstanding contributions in SharePoint Server technical communities during the past year.

Yes, this is something that I’m really proud of .. The MVP Award turned 20 years during the latest MVP Summit and I got my 4th award a couple of months after. This means that I’ve been an MVP for almost 20% of the MVP Award lifetime :)

Another things that made me super excited, is how my dear friends and community folks shared these precious moments with me on Social Media … Thanks a lot guys!

2013 Global MVP Summit

This was the first time for me to make it to the Global MVP Summit in Redmond. I really enjoyed every second, I’ve also met with great smart people across many countries & technologies and most importantly we agreed on many Killer initiatives that will be announced soon.

Many people asked me to post some photos from 2013 Global MVP summit, here are some & more to come :)

SharePoint MVP for another year .. Exciting news

Wuhoooooo, I have been renewed as SharePoint Server MVP for 2011. I would like to thank Microsoft for this. It’s an honour to be part of this vibrant knowledgable community. It's also really exciting to be associated with this great product "SharePoint". The product itself is fantastic and it has bunch of talented experts in the form of MVPs and support of product team is excellent. Moreover SharePoint community is really vibrant, helpful and knowledgeable (You can follow the hashtag #SP2010 and #SharePoint on Twitter to understand what I mean).

I'd to like thank my MVP Lead Ruari Plint and my ex-lead Baransel Dogan for their support and encouragement. I'd also like to thank people who have attended my talks, read my blogs and participated in the newsgroups and forums.

Last year was a very busy year and one of my best when it comes to community participation. It ended up with three very successful TechEd talks and my first contribution to a published book (SharePoint 2010 Unleashed). I've big plans for the SharePoint community this year, especially the online one.. Stay tuned!

Needless to say, I am honored to be counted with some of the dazzling minds in the software industry and very delighted that my contributions in the past year were recognized by Microsoft.

I would like to extend special thank you’s to all MEA MVPs who have always helped, supported and motivated me since I have started my community activities a couple of years ago like Marwan Tarek (Egypt), Mostafa Arafa (Kuwait), Hammad Rajjoub (Pakistan), and Muhanad Omar (Jordan).

Many more thanks to everyone that has had direct involvement in my career like Mahmoud Kandeel, Ayman El-Tohamy, Ismail Habib, and Ali AlKahki.

Last but not least, I should also thank Bjorn Furuknap ,Mark Miller, Kailash Kalyani, Baransel Dogan and Ruari Plint for supporting all my previous community activities especially SharePoint Saturday Arabia.

And The best part about this award, that NOW we have two SharePoint MVPs at USPJ Academy !! Wooohooooooo !!
